ShadowCraft for Mists of Pandaria

1. Your character was not found in the armory. You can check here http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/skywall/destarah/advanced . So ShadowCraft can not import.

2. Go to Settings -> Item Filter -> Min iLvl (Random Items) set this to e.g. 430 and the items will be shown.

3. For me it works just fine with setting all non-capable stats to the same value. Did you hit the Custom Auto-Reforge All under the fields in the advanced tab? Just one cavet: When reforged from exp/hit it always favors mastery over haste and crit, but can be changed by hand after that.

I think you're referring to this file? I don't think anyone is working on a mage module, or anything other than rogue centric stuff.

The talent data has really just been there for thoroughness' sake. Shadowcraft is actually just a barebones engine. What it does is it stores data about a character (what talents are available, what stats they have, what procs they use, etc) and it lets modules use it. To give an example, you could write a simulation within Shadowcraft's engine, despite the fact that the rogue module is formulaic. So these basic engine files aren't indicative of anything being made, they just let the engine perform as intended to anyone who might want to use it.

I hesitate to ask this question at this point, as I can't imagine that it hasn't already been answered.  But I searched back 8 pages, and all I can find is the same question in post #496, and from what i could see an answer wasn't provided, so I'm going to hold my breath and hope for the best with this one. :)

Simply put, shadowcraft tells me my 2pc bonus provides me with a -15 energy cost (I'm assassination).  My tool tip says -6, and some quick testing on the dummy confirms that it is indeed only a 6 energy cost reduction.

Therefore I have to ask if shadowcraft is overstating the energy cost reduction, and therefore the ep value of crit.  Its telling me that crit is now my best secondary stat, but if that's based on an assumed 15 energy cost reduction then that probably is not correct.

Again, I apologize if this is answered somewhere else.   Thanks for any and all help with this.

Shadowcraft has used the right numbers since 5.4 was on the PTR (15e for combat, 6e for mutilate, 2e for sub). The tooltip says 15e because that's what the tooltip defaults to and what wowhead provides when referencing their site.

Hi, I haven't seen it mentioned before, but any chance you could display % in DPS Breakdown on Advanced tab, and not just raw numbers?

Also, there's a typo in the proc name in the Breakdown, "Fury Of Xuen" instead of "Flurry of Xuen". Thanks.

(1) Ok, thank you!

(2) Yes, but on the Advanced tab, in DPS Breakdown I still see "Fury of Xuen".

Yes, Upgrade Level 3 and 4 will be in when Patch 5.4.8 going live. Those Itemlevel are already in for Asian realms, so it's not a big change to make to enable them for all regions.

Ok. I updated ShadowCraft to enable Upgrade Level 3 and 4.

Please clear you browser cache or make a force reload on the side.

I'm not fully up-to-date with the changes from patch 5.4.8 so if there are any errors please let me know.

Garrosh Heirlooms are still being handled as ilvl 574 instead of ilvl 582.

EDIT: Looks like its working correctly now.

In regards to the Legendary cloak, ShadowCraft is showing me that it's one of my weaker upgrade options, atleast when compared to the stronger stat items. I assumed upgrading the cloak should follow the trinkets and weapons, but my Helm and Chest are actually stronger options. Is SC correctly calculating he cloak, or is it really just a weaker upgrade in general?

As far as i know the proc is not scaling with level of the cloak, and when we look at the pure stats, they are pretty weak.So i think that sc is right.

Hi, my expertise cap, before patch 5.4.8 don't reach to 7,5%, it stay at 7,39 with auto-reforge!

I've updated 5 items but don't know why i can't reach the cap!

Any solutions or suggestions?

Thnx so much for response!

Alather - I've never considered capping expertise to be terribly important for Assassination, but if you feel you must, just hit auto reforge a second time and shadowcraft caps expertise for you. At least, it did when I looked at your character. It's a slight loss in dps, but it's your call. Good luck.

hello there

been away from wow for some time.

What I want to ask for shadowcraft, how comes it tells me to reforge mastery into crit? as far as i could find out, it should be Haste>Mastery>Crit has something changed?

Another one is, guides like icy veins tell that you usually go for red sockets 160 agi and orange stuff 80 agi 160 haste above itemlvl 500 is that just wrong?

another little thingy

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/blackmoore/Ellaire/advanced

it tells me that i shall reforge my boots  as well as the ring with 160hit/haste, altough the socket boni are 60 crit and mastery, is that really worth it?

I'd be thankful for a little advice

I really cant seem to find out what the silent blades buff has to do with my questions about crit and mastery or the socketing.

Crits  of SS dont have an impact on cp generation anymore so that  cant be it. Is it the globalcooldown lowering, for when silent blades occur and you might cap your energy too much? I dont get it.

Oh sorry, my fault - thought about Assassination and Seal Fate, but you are Combat.
Well, then lets wait for a more knowledgable response :)

I don't have the data and play my rogue way too little atm
