      Valor upgrades definitely sped this one up, but we'd been making steady progress each night which made for a nice learning curve regardless. And I'm not going to complain about a little boost to get Archimonde down before the holidays wreak havoc on scheduling.

      Thanks to everyone for great play the last couple of months in particular, really picking up the overall level to close out the tier. Thanks especially to Shabadu and Heckbringer who were instrumental in getting us here, but sat out the big kill. After 11+ months of more or less continuous progression, looking forward to a leisurely farm schedule. Recruitment is pretty much frozen at this point, but exceptional applicants interested in joining for Legion should feel free to reach out, though we'll need to see who rerolls, leaves, returns, etc., going into the new expansion before taking any further steps.

      12 down, one to go. Fun fight to progress on from start to finish, just making small adjustments and getting comfortable with the timings throughout. Now for fun times with the big guy.

      We're probably all set as far as recruitment goes at this late stage of the tier, but exceptional candidates are always welcome to apply.

    • Floor 2 (+Recruitment update)

      After Gorefiend, there wasn't really an specific single boss that felt like it merited a front-page update, but at this point, collectively the entire second floor of the Citadel seems like it does. Onwards to the roof, and Mannoroth. Time for the real challenge.

      With the arrival of fall and changing work/class schedules, we're looking to replace a mage and add one more ranged DPS to our lineup to give us some flexibility as we close out the tier.       Wardance is an active raiding guild whose goal is to see and conquer all of the current content and beyond while allowing our members to enjoy a life outside the game. We have been actively raiding as a guild team since ToC in Wrath of the Lich King some of us have been playing together much longer than that. We are a smaller guild and because our turnover among our core has been almost non-existent, we've hardly needed to recruit in the past as we are pretty tight knit group. We are currently looking for exceptional individuals that want to progress through current raid content and beyond including future expansions.       Our reputation on Zul'jin is very important to us, as it should be. We expect all of our members to act mature, and show the utmost respect towards others, whether it be in guild or out of guild. We do not participate in realm forum trolling or epeening. We let our guild achievements and attitude do the talking. As a recruit, our expectations as far as gems, enchants, consumable usage and attendance is identical to our veterans. Not meeting that expectation means you have failed your application. While we do not ONLY consider players decked in Mythic Raiding gear, please do not you waste your time and ours if your main cannot out-gear my alts, there are plenty of opportunities to gear up out there between heroics, LFR, and pug raiding. Do not go AFK during trash, show up late to raids, or fail to understand the basic mechanics of your class or raid encounters or you will not make it to full member status. Assuming you reach the end of the 28 day Trial period, the officers will determine whether you were successful or not and will decide to either promote you to veteran, extend your probation or ask you to leave the guild. Raid Schedule & Attendance
      We pride ourselves on having a minimally invasive raid schedule, however we are very serious for the nights we are raiding as far as getting things done. We would like to see members online more than simply just raid nights and often do other things on those nights even though nothing is officially scheduled. We do not plan to alter our raid times but circumstances could come up that require us to do so. Despite any changes that may occur to the raid schedule we tend to preserve weekends as they are sacred to many of us. Loot
      Wardance runs a Loot List system (Modified Loot Council) where each member composes a monthly list of up to 12 items valuable to their class and spec and orders it in priority of greatest value. As long as the minimum 80% (rolling 5 week cycle) attendance threshold is maintained, the highest listing of the piece determines who loots the items and in what order. In the event of ties the loot council will step in and decide distribution based on several parameters such as guild rank, attendance, performance, biggest upgrade (including set bonuses), contribution to raid progress, etc. I assure you that these discussions are well thought out and fair.

Added stub mods with only combat detection for rest of bosses in zone Hellfire Citadel: Added new feature to mannoroth to Assign icons/yells for wrath of Gul'dan by role (TANK/HEALER/DAMAGER). This option is not on by default and must be set by raid leader only. Wrath of guldan on mannoroth will now have voice pack sounds for what mark to move to. Legion Dungeons: Added mods for all bosses in Blackrook Hold with all data available from normal testing Added mods for all bosses in Darkheart Thicket with all data available from normal testing Added stub mods with only combat detection for rest of 5 man bosses in Legion Bug Fixes Core: Some fixes to timer recovery to hopefully make it work more reliably on some cases. Fixed a lua error for voice pack users on Blackhand mod. Changes Core: Updated to latest LibChatAnims for Legion compatability. DBM core now lets you set warning duration for on screen warnings as low as 1 second, down from previous 3 second lowest setting. Changed default countdown audio for all countdowns to begin at 4 seconds, down from 5. (mods that already use less than 4 will continue to do so) Name labels for HUD should hopefully now show up on alert circles even for names that aren't in range. Hellfire Citadel: Further refined add cancel timers on mannoroth to try to be as precise as possible on whether or not the add will come or not during a transition.     • Legion Alpha: Nythendra Kill/DBM Testing
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AscCWM0dOuI In This video I'm testing a mod on a boss that has never before been pulled that I drycoded before hand using only journal and spell data from wowhead. For most part the mod worked pretty well to warn for important debuffs and already had working yell countdowns and the works. The mod of course lacked perfect timers and instead used the built in AI system to try and learn some on the fly which it did but not perfectly since it's hard for ai timers to perfectly learn how phase changes reset timers and such. You can also see the debug I run in chat and transcriptor of course running to log fight to complete mod later (and the mod is complete now).
    • 7.0 Progress Report
      Things have appeared quiet around here on DBM end but this is because work is well under way for Legion 7.0 content. Currently DBM already has full support for all dungeons and raids for pull/wipe/kill detection and basic features like range finder and other manual commands.  For raid mod support, all tested bosses so far (3 raid bosses so far) have full and functional mods. For dungeon mod support, 2 dungeons are fully supported right now. Backrook Hold and Darkheart Thicket I will start publishing test videos and then linking to the threads in this sticky so you can see my testing first hand and development process for many of raid test bosses. I'll also update this thread when I do updates and add more bosses/dungeon support.
