There are two reasons why your question is silly.
- The only reason you're casting riptide at all is for the tidal waves haste buff. Healing wave is the biggest single target heal in our arsenal. Even with the 25% bonus from consuming a riptide hot, healing wave still heals for more than chain heal. Use chain heal when you're healing multiple targets, not a pure single target encounter like Valithria. Furthermore, chain heal can't proc ancestral awakening, which double dips from the stacking Valithria orb buff, a significant portion of shaman healing on that fight.
I'm not great theorycrafter, so I have one question about healing at Valithria Dreamwalker. I can see, You use on her method of healing: riptide, healing wave, healing wave, healing wave... Is it simple mathematically method to calculate (approximately) difference between this method, and my method, which is: riptide, chain heal, healing wave, healing wave, and how significant is effect of T10 on each of this (call it) "rotations"??
Thanks in advance.
