Class benchmarks for T6 Raiding
Posted 20 February 2008 - 04:03 PM
Im a member of a semi progressive guild, we started on T6 content about a good 3 weeks ago. Going thru the WWS reports I saw some things that inspired me to make this thread.
My problem is that after a few months of SSC/TK raiding, I would expect that everyone has at least a general idea about thair class. This is not the case as on the WWS reports I see DPS Classes doing 700-800dps on fights where they would be expected to do at least 1k+. (especially in 4pc T5 or equivalent) So far we are doing decent clearing up to Archimonde and killing Najentus/Supremus relatively easily.
Judging from the WWS reports a large chunk of our DPS is getting carried, by the few ppl who know how to do damage and lots of it. Since replacing them is not an option due to the family approach of the guild, educating them comes to mind.
Therefore I ask help from you guys to help me estabilish a benchmark per class, that I can present to our T6 raiders to meet and start to build up from.
The ideal look would be something like:
Class: Rogue (example only)
Spec: Combat Swords
Crit: 25% or higher
Hit: cca 300
AP: 1750 or higher
Thanks in Advance

Frankly I don't know how you non-Nordic people can breed in good conscience.

There's a whole forum called "Class Mechanics". I would suggest putting a link to it on your guild forums entitled, "READ!"
This, with one caveat: If the OP is any indication, you should make that "READ BUT DO NOT POST"
