Also see an attached old screenshot for the gist of it.
Again, for people who are into advanced UI design and follow the UI mod development community closely, you will find absolutely nothing interesting about my post or this compilation. But people who just want a bunch of stuff they can throw in to create a functional raiding UI, this may be handy.
95% of my mods are Ace-based and can be updated via WoWAceUpdater (WITHOUT Externals). The attached archive contains all the external Ace libs that are dependencies for all these mods. Just run WAU semi-regularly, defaulting to Without Externals, and you should have no problems. Or don't at all, since these all work fine as-is.
List of Mods
!BugGrabber -- Grabs UI error popups and feeds them into BugSack so you never get error popups
OmniCC -- Shows cooldown counter on action bars
ACP -- Lets you enable/disable mods without logging out
Align -- Very bare-bones mod, /align to create a layover grid on your screen that lets you line up your UI elements
Aloft -- Overhead health bar display mod
AltClickToAddItem -- Lets you add items to trade/mail/etc. via alt-click
Antagonist -- PvP cooldown/buff tracker
Aperture -- Lets you black out top/bottom bars and resize your display field accordingly so that UI elements don't obscure your field of view
ArenaPointer -- Shows the # of points you'll get next to your arena ratings on the (H)onor tab
BanzaiAlert -- Aggro warning when you pull aggro or someone targets you in PvP
BigBrother -- Check raid consumable status and show who breaks CC
BigWigs -- All-in-one bossmod package, the best out there IMO.
BugSack -- Grabs error reports from !BugGrabber so you can see what's causing errors without getting spammed.
Capping -- BG mod showing timers on flag/graveyard capping
Cartographer -- Major world-map mod with a bunch of features
ClearFont2 -- More fonts to use
Clique -- Click-to-cast interface
CooldownTimers2 -- Tracks your cooldowns and creates those middle-of-screen popups when abilities become usable
CowTip -- Tooltip mod. I used Tinytip in my video and until a week ago, until Thrae decided to replace his functioning build with a featureless alpha build on the wowace main WAU branch. CowTip is just as good if not better.
cyCircled -- Just a visual thing, can make your action bars entries circular if you want.
eePanels -- Visual mod as well, lets you make borders or backdrops for your UI elements.
ElkBuffBars -- Buff bars.
FuBar + various plugins -- The bar at the top. Compact information display.
Grid -- Raid frames, I hope everyone knows what this is.
ItemRack -- Non-Ace wardrobe mod
LoggerHead -- Automatically combatlogs when you enter specified zones, handy since I do our WWS parses.
MagicTrack -- PvP mod tracking Counterspell/Spell Lock/etc. useage and cooldowns by enemies.
MobHealth -- Shows health estimates on unit frames.
MobNotes -- Shows some customizable notes in mob mouseover tooltips, as seen in my Z'A video.
NRT -- Nihilum Raid Tracker, raid attendance and loot tracking mod
Omen -- Threat meter.
OneBag -- Merges all bags/backpack into one frame.
oRA2 -- CTRA replacement that provides basic things like main tank windows, the ability to check raid member resists, cooldowns for battlerez and DI and such, etc.
pDebuffList -- Old version of what is now updated as Demon; displays raid debuffs on target/focus
PitBull -- Unit frames.
Prat -- Chat mod.
PreformAVEnabler -- Assists with organizing simultaneous AV queuing.
Proximo -- Arena enemy frame display.
Quartz -- Cast bar.
RatingBuster -- Adds detailed info regarding rating-->stat conversion and item level to item tooltips.
sct -- Scrolling Combat Text. If you are a DPS class you'll probably want to grab SCTD also, for damage output.
ShamanFriend -- Amazing shaman PvP mod to track and report grounded spells, purges/interrupts, etc.
ShammySpy -- Totem bar that shows current totems with pulses reflecting the pulse rate of your totems.
SimpleCombatLog -- Combat log mod in the Nurfed style.
simpleMinimap -- Customizable minimap.
SimpleRaidTargetIcons -- Lets you double-click unit models to pop up a radial raid target selection.
SpellAlert -- Shows enemy casts/gains/etc.
Violation -- Lean and simple DamageMeter mod, like a slimmed down SW-Stats.
XRS -- XRaidStatus, shows raid buff status, mana levels, alive/dead, etc.
Mods in boldface will be obsolete (like PreformAV or SimpleCombatLog) or will need to be updated to function (Violation, Omen, SCT, etc.) when 2.4 hits.
Obviously some of this stuff is shaman-specific. Get rid of that stuff if you aren't a shaman.
(PS: Please don't take this thread as free license to start making threads devoted to your own unremarkable UIs. Use the Post Your Interface thread for that. I'm special.)
