How about you update your profile.
I'm following this discussion most intently and I thank all those involved for their contributions.
I'm looking for perhaps some clarification/validation/correction about some conclusions I think I've come to on our scaling issues.
This has probably all been gone over, so when i beat the dead horse, I'll try to only get it on me. The need for concision has to do with relating these topics to others as it usually the way with these things.
My thoughts are we don't scale (and can't really be fixed this EXPAC) due to our coefficients. Specifically, I am referring to the coefficients of LB and LvB, how the designers have articulated they are pleased (read: not gonna change) with the balance of LB and LvB in PvE in avoiding any gear/spec/stat setup that would in any way favor a LB spam and how they've been concerned about reducing the burst of LvB in PvP.
The conclusion I came to is that Blizz has painted themselves into a design corner with us. They can't just raise LB coefficients... or we return to LB spamming. They can't raise both LB and LvB coefficients so we scale like we should... or LvB would be too powerful in PvP.
I still have fun with my shammy, don't get me wrong. I'd just like to do better and I think structurally, we're limited.
Am I correct? Partially? Completely off-base?
Edit: Sorry, I raid on Yarong - Gnomeregan - US. He's my main raider.
