Infraction: 4. Whining in any form is forbidden.

If I was a raid leader (in English, you can't modify nouns by attaching the adjective to it directly - you have to leave a space between them), I wouldn't take you because you whine too much. It has nothing to do with class. Actually, it does have something to do with class, just not the class you're obviously concerned about.
Man up and use SoR (unless your raid has amazing target swapping dps). The ooze needs to die pronto and every bit of dps helps you get there.
Once you get to Phase 3 (you lose Abom and must meet a dps check or you wipe) SoV will be good. Since Professor must be kited in P3, Cons may lose its effectiveness, so perhaps you could use Glyph of SoR instead.
Topping the damage meters isn't always the best thing if you are concerned about winning.
That is true, and while I don't usually mind having the odd encounter where retpaladins doesn't shine (Northrend beasts, Yogg among others) but with the increased difficulty of this putricide encounter doesn't spell very good for us.
Essentially, our performance in this fight could possibly mean losing a raid spot when the Hardmodes are out. On normal difficulty im not really concerned about it, mainly cause I'm one of the most loyal and best performing members in our guild. But I expect putricide hardmode will require an insanely well tuned raid, and retpaladins doesn't fit in well there seeing the normal mode results and now with arcane mages providing our only semi-unique raidbuff.
Atleast if I was a raidleader I would probably not take a retribution paladin to HM-Putri if I had an equally skilled or geared player on almost any other class (however I can see this being an issue for ferals as well).
But time will tell, I was mostly just venting my early frustrations with this encounter.
