You can very well see the castbars of units you have not targeted. The white border works nicely as a target indicator.
I used a green->red gradient for testing the threat color, but something like grey->yellow->orange->red would be better. Green easily get's lost. I have a complete threat list available for every mob, so coloring a tanked mob blue is very easy. The best thing is, that units targeted by your raid are automatically updated without having to mouseover. Even if you have to do it manually it's very fast.

Unfortunately it's always hard to target mobs in a crowd. The nameplates have a fixed hitbox, like I mentioned in the first post. My addon has a debug mode that makes the hitbox visible.

Edit: Marking tanked mobs works fine now. Testing threat is annoying and takes time, because you can't do it alone. Maybe I'll just release a beta version (this weekend) to have more feedback.
