Greetings,
I use two chat windows, one for the real chat (whispers, guild, raid, instance) and the second for mostly read only (general, trade, emotes, boss whisper, boss emote, yells, announces, item loots, reputation...).
By default DBM posts into the default window with the 'real chat', and I would like it to post into the other one.
Is it possible?
Thanks.

This is actually a feature that I wanted to implement for quite some time now. Let me see what I can do.

I started working on this feature. You can download an alpha version from here to get started:

There isn't a setting in the UI for this yet, but it already works if you set the option by hand.

Type the following to change the chat frame:

/run DBM.Options.ChatFrame = "ChatFrameX"

and replace ChatFrameX with the name of the chat frame you want to use. The chat frames of the default UI are all called ChatFrame1 to ChatFrame10. You can find out the names of your chat frames with this command:

/run for i=1,10 do _G["ChatFrame"..i]:AddMessage("I'm ChatFrame"..i) end

(It will print a message to each chat frame with the ID in it)

Note that DBM will use the default frame if the selected frame is hidden (that includes a tab that is in the background) during a boss fight.
