Would be awesome to get a timer to see when Medivh will cheat next :)

Also, looking in my DBM, I don't see anything for the chess event at all(is that right or am I missing something?)

yes i actually plan to do this. it's on my todo list. now that kara and other BC raids are revived once more, i'll be revisiting some of those mods

on my todo
re-add the automatic loot to free for all to vash mod
add timers to chess event.

A mod for chess would indeed be nice, if nothing else, for the statics..

However, the stuff I'd like to see is:
- Timer for when Medivh cheats. If we know in advance, let it display wether next cheat is buff or fire..
- Timer for how long you are "locked out" when switching piece.
- "Run away little girl" (for you only) when you control the king, and stand in fire.
- Other audible warning (for everyone), when king stands in fire, but noone is controlling him.

If Lady Vashj have loot changed to FFA, make sure it's only in phase 2, and changed back (to what it was before) in phase 3/wipe, as the possibility of L70 TBC raiding still exist, and it can cause nerd rage, if loot is suddenly FFA when she dies..

download newer bc mods. they already contain:

it has timer for cheats
has timer for lockout
has timer for hero
complete pull/win detection so it'll also have timer for fastest victory

no king warning yet. didn't feel it needed. if soloing, he's most certainly on focus. and if you are in him, you can't possibly miss the fire. I may still add one if i go back to kara, but i got my pets from that zone already.

vash mod also done, FFA in phase 2 only, restores after, same as mimiron.

Hero?? As in 37471?? Naughty alliance player.. Why are the honorable horde cheated of Bloodlust 37472? ;)

I ran a trascriptor log for chess. It appears the fire cheat does NOT show in combat log what so ever. it doesn't even show in trascriptor, beyond the emote saying he cheated. it appears there is no way to detect what pieces it's cast on. so the mod is as complete as it can get

I tried chainging 37471 to 37472 in the LUA..

In the GUI it was changed to Bloodlust, but there was no timer for it, when chess was in play :(

i already commited that change to latest version. just update it. i didn't upload such a simple change to curse though but you can get newer one from here.

Can you (greately) reduce wipe-timer?

10min is such long time, that you can loose, start a 2nd game, loose again and start a 3rd game, before the wipe is registered..
This means, only one of three games are registered..

when you lose, don't you lose the "game in session" buff? I can add an extra check for if YOUR king dies to also wipe it. since you don't actually enter combat, i can't lower the auto wipe time.

The problem is, if i fix this, it's no longer going to detect your follow up pulls. if "Game in session" is not dropping when you wipe, then if i detect wipe off your own king death, i'll have NO WAY to detect your next pull. I detect pull by "Game in Session" being applied. Do you want it to wipe and never detect your kill or just stay in combat with chess until you win?

EDIT: actually, i may have a fix for both issues, may be iffy but we'll see

Make sure you try the new version from here to see if it works, 372

"Game in Session" stays for a while, but does fall off after (guessing) 15ish seconds. However, the wipe still isn't registered.
When you win, Medivh does an emote, that should be possible to use..

Will give 372 a go, wednesday or thursday..

there is nothing wrong with win. when you win the other king fires UNIT_DIED.

a wipe should register the instant game in session falls off. it sounds like you're just starting a rematch before that happens. hopefully the new code works to detect that better.

Nope.. You can't start a game, until the pieces have reset, which happens atthe same time as the GIS-buff fades.. I have even tried to wait a few minutes, after I wiped, before I started next game.

Anyway, I'll test 372 before making new comments..

Tried 472.. When your king dies, DBM registeres combat ends.. That's fine..

However, when I exitted the piece I controlled (not the king) DBM registered this as a new match began..
The next game, (which was already in play in DBM) was a win, so I didn't see it it happened Again.
