This is the thread for simple questions that don't fit anywhere else. If your question applies to one of the existing thread topics, please post it there instead; if you expect to generate significant additional discussion, create a new thread. If, however, you have a simple question that only requires a simple answer and don't see a better place to post it, this is your thread.

Note that all forum rules other than the injunction against hand holding requests still apply in this thread, and that rule still applies everywhere else. Clear communication is important even in short posts. A short "no" or "choose trinket B" response to a question isn't helpful, and will receive an infraction -- briefly explain the why and how of things. The goal is to educate, not babysit.

I have been playing League of Legends for almost two years, and have gotten to the point where I have a decent idea what each champion does. I am now looking to delve deeper into the item/rune/mastery choices for the champions I play. I am lookign to do some deep theory crafting, develop graphs of dps and efficiency with respect to builds. I was wondering if anyone here has done anything like this, and if they would know of a resource that I can use to get started (a template, advice, guide in theorycrafting, etc.). Thanks for the help!

As a longtime veteran of League of Legends (early 2010/know everything about the game and all it's champions), I'm reluctant to inform you that deep theorycrafting in League is usually a waste of time. Given the non-static gameplay of League, min-maxing has a negligible influence when compared to games like WoW where every raid is always the same. However, the best source of theorycrafting I've come across in my time would be www.cloth5.com. I hope you'll find something interesting there.

Too bad, peanutbutter.
