Really the title summed it up.

Since my first time on galkras I have wondered why you are warned to leave the fire.

It tells you to move once you are already hit, even if you move out of it once the warning pops up, you have still taken the full damage from it and it despawns almost immediatly.

So really you have about .1 seconds to leave the fire after this warning is processed.

In other words, it is needless clutter.

Love DBM but please, for the default settings please turn "Show special warning to move out from Flame Arrows" off, thanks.

Edit: If anything a range warning to tell people not to stand on eachother so they dont get hit by other peoples fire arrows would be better, but still, not important enough to fill the screen with warnings.

I'm pretty sure, it leaves a flame patch (graphics is there, atleast), that damage you, while you stand in it.

If not, then yes.. Gt rid of it..

It used to leave a flame patch that stayed for a long period of time on the ptr, that part of it was removed and I just never remembered to remove the warning for it.

Well I just wanted to open a bug report, as I am missing the warning sounds very much. When hearing it, I jump aside, not hearing it, I stay and get too much damage.

So I always use the old files of SoO, but I dont think thats very clever, as I don't get the other fixes!

please put in the warning again, but, as mentioned above, not for default setting!

Thanks a lot,

Lebiki

Are you sure you take extra damage if you do NOT move?

I'm quite sure without proof. When using the newer Core-files, I died within a few arrows not stepping away, but when I used the old ones with the sound and stepped away, I didn't die. Furthermore our raidleader always yelled "out of the fire" ^^

If that's case, I don't even know why it should be off by default. I'll it back in, still on by default.

Eh, I just thought it was the most anoying warning in DBM history.

As it happens like every 8 seconds.

And they dont do enough damage to be worthy of a warning in my opinion.

But whatev, aslong as I can disable the warning.

Edit: When I was new to the fight it was overwhelming, and the extra warning every 8 seconds made it more overwhelming.
