A very small addon that fixes issues in patch 2.2 with shadows making text unreadable. It only appears to affect higher screen resolutions.

The latest version (v0.3) should work for all text shadows, not just the chat frame.

As an aside, I recently learned that Blizzard changed the default UI scaling - so, if your problems with your UI stem from having to move and resize everything, simply enable UI scaling and set it (via console commands) to 0.9. That should solve your problem

I'm having similar UI scaling issues.
I did some quick searching on here, wowwiki and the official forums with no luck so far, is someone cleverer than me able to type out the /console command needed to set the UI scale?

Doubt I'll use it for too long, always come back to the default UI even though just about anything other than default is much more eye pleasing.

Ryas: Assuming you have all the zork's borders, edit TinyTip.lua

Change

edgeFile = "Interface/Tooltips/UI-Tooltip-Border",

to

edgeFile = "Interface\\Tooltips\\UI-Tooltip-Border",

thx everyone :)

Hey Zork, how did you get TinyTip's border to change to yours? I set it to the game's default, but it won't change like the rest of my UI.

Have you searched for "Interface/Tooltips"-stuff and replaced it with "Interface\\Tooltips"-stuff?
If no, please remember that the path to the graphic must include 2 backslashes instead of 1 slash, otherwise it will load the default border.

If using windows XP you may not get a correct search result for this string if you have not activated "filter files with unknown extension". (link to microsoft)

I just saw that nawfal explained it too :), thx.

Currently I do not use eepanels, all the borders are done with the tooltip-file or I edited some of the TGA files the addon uses to make it look like I want it to.

@chunkymunky
Yes it is buffalo. I looked into the buffalo.lua and searched for the frames and found out that the edgefile was set to "" (empty), so it was a matter of seconds to give it the right path and tile and edgesize of 16 (I guess).

*edit* Some action shot from getting my new tamed pet (lvl 70 ravager :)) to "best-friend".

Addons I currently use:

ErrorMonster
Cooldowncount
Buffalo
Bartender3
Cycircled
Prat
Pitbull
Quartz
Omen
Tinytip
Simpleminimap
FuBar

Thats it, btw I tried Parrot and hated the rock configuration.

If you download Tapestry's latest UI, you can grab her sharedmedia stuff. The texture is called 'glamour' -- here's a link to it Tapestry UI | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com

Just snag her Sharedmedia folder out... :P

I found something new in my interface yesterday and I can't figure out where the hell it's coming from
Posted Image

What is it, what purpose does it serve?
Ever since that one showed up I can't open PallyPower options anymore.

This is a very constructive post that clearly explains the failings of Rock and why users should use out of date interface addons.
