I'd appreciate that, because it is always bit of a pain in the ass to do the profiles for SimulationCraft for classes which you don't have at max level.
From an item perspective I mean everything that can be obtained without emblems of triumph or setting foot into ToCrusader.
Quest rewards from ulduar completion? is used, which is from the Algalon quest.

Yeah, I'm a bit blind, it seems. =P Edited the last post to include a little more info, going to set up the profile quickly before raid tonight.

I also adjusted to an Incite build, rather than an Imp Execute one.

A few things could be slightly improved I think. Use a in the neck for sure. Go for the socket bonus on the cloak and wrists, at least according to Rawr, but maybe it is overvaluing Crit and Agi.

Here we are, some potential BiS (Arms-Axe) setups.

I built these in a particular way. Intentionally not counting in any potentially relevant racials or faction-specific buffs. Assuming JC+BS a professions. Assuming a fight with zero movement and a single target. Assuming no maintenance of any buffs that consume a GCD (shouts/sunder/TClap). Optimized according to these assumptions.

These were created using the DPSWarr module of Rawr, r36225. Modeled using one Indestructible potion due to current limitations of the model, with a fight length of 6min, 15sec.

For some reason, it doesn't want to allow me to add sockets to the waist, wrists, and hands. Assume a Fractured Dragon's Eye in each of those slots. Also, assume that +40ArP food and the +180 AP flask is being chosen. Used a Relentless Earthsiege for both setups, placed Nightmare Tear in the chest .

4pcT8 setup
Profiler - Wowhead
97.85% passive ArP
Theoretical performance output according to Rawr: 7614.768 DPS.

Notes: This setup is Hit capped, but is not Expertise(dodge) capped. This is my preference for BiS. Pretty straight-forward. The other set is closer to the ArP cap, but this seems to outperform it, and is slightly more conventional, to boot.

2pcT8 setup
Profiler - Wowhead
99.68% passive ArP
Theoretical performance output according to Rawr: 7602.201 DPS.

Notes:

I realize that this setup is neither Hit not Expertise(dodge) capped, and I further realize that I am forgoing the 4-piece T8 set bonus. ArP is nearly capped, at 99.64% passive ArP, and I did make my final gem Str (placed in the neckpiece).

Also, I'm hoping the two quest reward rings (10 and 25) do not lock one another out, though I'm not too afraid of this being the case.

Fears: Breaking the 4-piece T8, though this is made up for by placing 3x239s in the other tier slots. More worrisome is that, even though I require exactly 19 Hit to be Hit capped, I am being told to gem +20Str as opposed to +20Hit (which would also pick up a socket bonus.) If you wish to force this to be hit capped, Replace the Str gem in the neck with an ArP one, and put a Rigid King's Amber in the cloak (6Agi slightly edges out 4Str here). If you wish to simply get very close to Hit Cap, replace the Str gem in the neck with and ArP one, and put an Accurate Ametrine in the gloves.

Thanks man, I'll have a look and add them to simcraft :)

BWarner, in both of your BiS equip sets you are using Comet's Trail, which I think is a really bad choice. If the SEP values in Landsoul's spreadsheat are correct or nearly correct, haste is worth 1/3 compared to strength. Try using Dark Matter or Darkmoon Card: Greatness instead.

I agree about the Haste thing, but was working almost strictly with the values I was getting from Rawr. In my mind, Dark Matter is probably a better trink, absolutely. The devil's advocate in me is saying that Comet's Trail has more passive AP, and a greater value of the stat it DOES have on proc, but I don't know if this would realistically put it ahead of the other two options you mentioned. You can certainly switch out that trink, if you like, and I would be interested to see the difference in an output of SimCraft (may go play around with that some).

I'm also assuming that we're not including the new crafted items, as well? Technically, the orbs could be purchased on the AH and made from somebody who has the patterns, without requiring any stepping into Coli - but I think you're not wanting me to include these items, correct?

Working on a Fury set now, and will get back with some work on the other weapon specs as I get some free time (classes just started up).

Ditto on the BoE stuff out of Coli - still not working with them, don't know if you would like me to include them in my considerations.

Did anyone else notice a gain of 10-20 dps when switching the offhand enchant from Berserking to Mongoose for highly-geared characters? I was quite surprised when I saw this, but it makes sense since it would give you a good chunk of more rage with increased attack speed as well as removing the armor reduction penalty from Berserking, which doesn't interact well with the Armed to the Teeth talent.

Just wanted to see if anyone else got this result and thought it was worth going for. Thoughts?

Here are 2 T10 warrior profiles, feel free to use them. I wouldn't call them BiS, there could some hideen tweaks, but they should be fairly close.
The rotations are kept simple, because even if you could improve your dps with some highly complex formulas, it's not really that much.

I feel the protection warrior priority system should be revised. With the buffs to revenge (patch 3.3.3) and the nerf to concussion blow (patch 3.3.2), the priority system should look like this:
  • Revenge
  • Shockwave
  • Shield Slam
  • Devastate
Shockwave is quite low in the current priority system, while it is actually one of our strongest attacks, even single target. The position of Shield Slam might depend on the amount of Block Value on your gear, however for most tanks this amount is quite low.

Since concussion blow has been nerfed to do 50% less damage, it now does less damage than devastate at five stacks of sunder armour.

Lastly, for protection warriors, ArP-food probably is a worse choice than expertise-food. Protection warriors usually don't have much armour penetration on their gear, and expertise scales insanely good for us -- even after reaching the dodge cap.

Is this assuming T10 2-piece and points spent in Improved Revenge? Without either, Shockwave wouldn't be above Shield Slam and Revenge wouldn't be #1 on the list.

Yes, sorry, you are absolutely right. Although even without the 2-piece T10, revenge and shockwave seem to be hitting considerably harder than shield slam.

If you're spec'ed into Improved Revenge it will hit harder than Shield Slam (I've seen logs in which I surpass a 14k Revenge crit) and Shockwave also "hits" harder than Shield Slam. However, in terms of which ability generates the most threat Shield Slam is still #1 and should be the top priority in your threat rotation. If, on the other hand, you're going for a damage rotation then yes, Shield Slam won't be as high on the list and will follow both Revenge (Improved) and Shockwave.
