About Us

Epoch was formed in May 2008 and made quite strong progress through raid content until the 3.0.1-patch (the big nerf) was released.
We finished off TBC by killing Kael'tas Sunstrider in TK and Lady Vashj in SSC before the patch. MH was 5/6 and BT 3/9.

In WotLK we've cleared all T7 10 and 25-man content, including Sartharion + 3D in both of them as well as completing the Glory of the Raider achivement.

After first week of T8/Secrets of Ulduar we're at 6/14 on 10-man and 4/14 on 25-man.

We are a very low drama guild and put emphasis on this.
We do not tolerate any flaming on Ventrilo, in forums, guildchat or towards non-guild members.
Being a raider in Epoch comes with the responsibility of acting mature and sensible to uphold the guilds good name on the server.
We do not go around telling everyone we meet in a heroic PuG or anyplace else how good we are and that we are badasses for speedkilling Sarth + 3D.

We aim to be one of the best non-hardcore guilds on Bronze Dragonflight.
By non-hardcore we mean that we raid slightly less days, that we require slightly lower signup rate than what we would consider hardcore.

Our raiding schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Firday and Sunday between 20:30-23:30 server time.
Invites start at approximatley 20:10, but no later than 20:15.

We require a minimum of 2 signups/week for all raiders and 3 signups/week from our initiates.
Our initiation period is generally 4 weeks, with a possible promotion earlier if being a really good performer and showing good reliability.
At rare cases we extend the trial period, should there have been issues during the first 4 weeks that call for it.

You...

.. are a reliable and mature person.
.. know how to play your class, in multiple specs, and how to optimize your performance through gear, talents, abilities rotation etc.
.. do good theorycratfing and read strats/watch videos of fights well ahead of time and do not expect the raidleader to be there to hold your hand all the time.
.. want to make good progress into hardest content available.
.. have a microphone and are not afraid to use it on Ventrilo whenever raidleader call for it
.. have raid dicipline in the sense that you come fully stocked on the best consumables, reagents, flasks etc, are on time and can take instructions and/or critisism from raidleader/assistant
.. know when a laugh is appropriate and when to shut up and focus
.. don't call people n00b or equivalent and adhere to what was stated about Epoch being "low drama" in the first paragraph

Currently looking for

Currently, we're specifically looking for the following:

1 Enhancement Shaman
1 Elemental Shaman
2 Rogues
2 Fury Warriors
1 Arms Warrior
1 Holy Paladin
1 Dicipline Priest
1 Balance Druid

However, if you are DPS and can put out 5K+ on Patchwerk and got WWS to back it up with, we are likely to be interested even if you're not in one of the listed classes.

How to apply

Visit our website, www.epochguild.net to read our full guild rules and fill out our application form.
Make sure to state what server you currently are playing on and how we may contact you (the applications are not publically available, so you don't have to worry about bots picking up your e-mail address nor that anyone will track if you are applying to us).

Should you, for any reason, have any issues with our application form, please send me a PM here on EJ.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read all this way.
We are looking forward to your application.

Yours,

Qualid
Epoch Recruitment and Raiding Officer
