<Static> Horde Raiding Guild of Executus
Static Forum
Static Recruitment & Active Applications

We have cleared ALL of Ulduar, and are currently working on hard modes. We cleared ALL content prior to 3.1, so yes, we know what we are doing.

BEFORE READING ANY FURTHER, THIS IS WHAT WE ARE IN DIRECT NEED OF AS OF THIS POSTING:

1 Warlock
1 Mage
1 Feral Druid (You will be required to tank AND dps)
1 Shadow Priest

THIS IS WHAT WE WOULD CONSIDER PICKING UP IF YOU ARE AN INCREDIBLE PLAYER:

None at this time.

Static, a Horde Raiding oriented guild on the Executus realm, is looking to increase our roster.

We're VERY demanding on applicants, and we will not even bother to look at you unless you can truthfully handle raiding content in WotLK. This should be self explanatory.

Is your Sons of Hodir reputation exalted? Do your professions provide a benefit to raiding? Do you constantly look for ways to improve your TPS/DPS/HPS?

Can you understand basic instruction? Are you able to adapt to change without being told? Do you read up on strats before the raid starts?

If you answered no to any of these questions, please do not apply.

We are ALWAYS searching for bigger and better players. If you happen to perform a role better than one of our current members, and you want to prove it, fill out the application and we will give you that opportunity. If you are a better player, you WILL receive their raid spot.

Guild Outline
We are a “hardcore” raiding guild that focuses more on enjoying the raiding scene as a team, and as friends, more than anything else. We do not care about gear, because it is plentiful and replaceable. We raid 3 nights a week, and during those raid times, we do not wish to hear about your day, your problems, or you in particular. Raid times are reserved for just that, raiding, so save the talking for off time.

What does Static expect from its members?
We demand that our membership come prepared and ready to raid. We do not coddle the weak. Raid spots are earned in the guild, not awarded. If you are not pulling your weight you will be replaced. This is our commitment to excellence. We understand everyone makes mistakes, we just ask you learn from them and try not to repeat them on a daily basis.

Recruit Requirements
Your recruitment could last 30 minutes to 30 days. Brutall, our GM, will decide when you are done with your recruitment. We expect a 90% attendance during this period. You may be asked to sit during the recruitment. You are required to come to raid prepared to raid. Please come with all consumables, including but not limited to flasks, foods, and potions. Please show up for the raid 15 minutes prior to invites. All recruits are eligible to receive loot during this period.

Loot Distribution
We use a Zero-Sum DKP system, which is very fair and easy to use, but we are not interested in loot more than the people, so come ready to play in a respectful and entertaining atmosphere.

Raiding Schedule (all times are Eastern)
Sunday - 8:45pm - 1:15am
Monday - Off
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - 8:45pm - 1:15am
Thursday - 8:45pm - 1:15am
Friday - Off
Saturday - Off

All "off" nights can be used to run 10 mans, PvP, etc. We encourage you to play with your guild mates as often as possible, and to participate frequently when you are able to.

Again, we judge applicants very, very harshly. Do not hesitate to apply if you meet our requirements, though.

On a side note, if/when you transfer, PLEASE make sure your character name is in the standard English alphabet (no funny characters!).

Thank you for taking the time to read our thread. We hope to hear from you soon. Good Luck! If you have any questions you can always contact an officer in game.
