About Us

<Semi Serious> is a focused guild always looking to add more exceptional players to our raid roster. We are currently working on Ulduar Hard Modes with our eyes set on Algalon in the near future. Our members consist of a tight knit group that enjoys friendship along with progression. Primarily consisting of mature players/college aged raiders we accept only individuals who are 21+. Our raid week typically consists of around 10-20 hours/week spent on new content and progression content along with our hard mode 10 man groups.

Facts About the Guild

Faction: Horde

Server: Destromath (PVP)

Time Zone: PST----Pacific Standard Time

Raid Times: Tues and Thurs 5:00pm---9:00pm (midnight EST) with occasional Sundays when new content drops.
(EST would be 8-12, CST would be 7-11)

Web site: semiserious.guildlaunch.com

Loot System: Loot Council
We raid fewer days/hours (2 days @ ~3-4 hours/day) than many at our progression level
We have a respectful raid environment (humor does not come exclusively from bashing of various minorities, nor is every minor mistake handled by being chewed out on vent although we do make sure mistakes get corrected and are public when needed)

About You

<If you have what it takes to join a skilled progression guild then read on. If you are in greens and blues, and hit 80 last week, look somewhere else Semi Serious is not for you!

Class-specific Notes
We are looking for the following:
-MUST HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF ALL ULDUAR ENCOUNTERS
-You must come to raids prepared with Flasks, Foods, Elixirs, fully repaired, etc...
-ALL classes are open to the best players out there
- 100% raid attendance is a must anything significantly less than that standard is unacceptable.
-You must have raiding experience in a guild of similar circumstance...exceptions may be made for outstanding applicants.
-Ideally, you will be on for more than just raiding. We offer a cool/social environment when not conquering content. (10 man content on weekdays/weekends and the occasional premade.)
-You are constantly looking for new ways to challenge your skills and to become better at your class. (ie. Achievements, Theory behind your class, etc...)>

How to Apply
If you would like to apply visit Semi Serious and post an application. If you haven't been notified/messaged in a week's time we are probably not interested.

Format of Application (Only Applications in this format will be reviewed)
1. Character Name
2. Level
3. Class
4. Race
5. Current Server
6. Link to your armory profile.
7. List your serious alts.
8. What are your playing hours?
9. What is your guild history?
10. What is your character's endgame role?
11. What is your prior endgame raiding experience?
12. Why do you want to leave your current guild?
13. Why do you want to join this guild?
14. Tell us a bit about yourself including other games you might play.
15. Please list references who would be willing to vouch for you.
16. Please list some out-of-game contact information.

There are 2 ways to be a main raider here. First, fill an open spot (and not make us want to scream!). Second, outperform an existing raider.
Our immediate needs are: (updated 07/15/09)
-Protection Paladin(Must Be Geared to the Teeth) HIGH
-Warlock (Destro or Aff) HIGH
- Holy Priest (Geared and Skilled in addition to being able to play all 3 specs should we need versatility) HIGH

Or, like I said above, if you think you can outperform a current class, then come show us.

If this is what you are looking for, then look no more, and visit our website to post an app at Semi Serious, or contact an officer in game (Brookz, Pongel, or Deadsteel)
