About us
Dexterity is an achievement/progression oriented guild. We are currently ranked #1 25 man achievements and #2 for 10 man achievements.

Progression wise, we're at 8/12 ICC 25H and 11/12 ICC 10H.

We are primarily a 25 player raiding guild, however we also run two 10 player teams. The main raiding schedule is from 19:00 to 23:00 (Sydney time) Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday.

Our very stable guild has a long history on the server, with over three years of activity, and are respected as a group of trustworthy and classy players. We also regularly run vanilla instances, and have a number of guild members with the Insane title. In short, we enjoy the game and we enjoy pushing the envelope. We may not always be be the first to get somewhere, but we'll certainly arrive in style.

We are not completely desperate for any particular class - though a Shadow Priest, Death Knight (DPS), Elemental Shaman or Boomkins would be nice. What we actually need is a few skilled players who will prove to be loyal and reliable. People willing to wipe on hard modes, people who love achievements, people who are willing to raid even if the boss doesn't have any good loot for them. We really need people who can be regularly available on Sundays or Mondays, as well as the other main raid nights. We DO NOT need any more part time players. We need people who can reliably show up for all 4 raid nights - it's okay to miss some because of emergencies, but if you regularly can't make at least 3/4 of raids (Sunday and Monday inclusive) you would be better off looking elsewhere.

We are looking for additional raiders to help support our main raiding team. We will attempt to get you in and running the content as frequently as possible. It is very rare, if ever, that someone will be placed on standby for an entire night. We like to rotate and keeps things as fair as possible - especially on farm content. We are currently suffering from having a very small standby list on some nights.

Ideally, you are a quality raider. You are at least familiar with most of the encounters in Icecrown Citadel, and can answer some basic questions to prove this. You do not need to have the best gear or sport a Kingslayer title, but you should have geared and gemmed appropriately for your class and role. Due to the ease of the first wing of Icecrown, we can't accept applications without a few iLevel 251 items equipped. You can buy these just from running heroics, but we would expect serious applications to be backed up with raid experience and some gear from Icecrown Citadel or Ruby Sanctum.

Some attributes that will help you;
* Personality, wit, charm, charisma, and an ability to fit in with the rest of the dysfunctional Dexterity team members.
* That you are always raid ready with consumables and flasks etc.
* An ability to check/read/stay up-to-date with the guild website on a daily basis, because it's updated frequently.
* That you are willing to WORK on your toon - prepared to grind rep, farm for mats etc.
* A reasonable, open mind to class changes and suggestions.
* That you are NOT a trouble maker. We are very keen on maintaining a drama-free low profile.

You need to have good raid awareness, and appropriate raid addons. You need to have vent, and a headset, although a microphone is not mandatory. We are not looking for perfect raiders - you simply need to be 'not bad'. If you're interested in raiding end game content, and have the skills that justify you being there, we're the guild for you.

You should spend some time on your application, and answer all questions to the best of your ability. We will dismiss applications with frequent errors or that fail to justify unusual spec/gear choices. You need to know your class. You need to know your role. And above all, you need to convince us about both of these things.

How to apply
You must be able to demonstrate some kind of intelligence. Applications filled with frequent spelling errors, no capital letters, or show other indications of poor effort will be discarded. An inability to follow the instructions on the application will be considered a good indication of your ability to follow raid instructions.

Please visit our website and fill in an application by selecting the 'Online Application' link on the left menu panel. Our officers will then discuss the application and get back to you. Most applications take two or three days to discuss - if you are already present on the server, or have raided with us previously, this time may be reduced.

If your application is successful, you will be invited with a trial rank. This rank lasts for six weeks, but can be shortened if you demonstrate incredible ability/competence. If your trial succeeds, you will be promoted to Raider. During this time you can roll on loot. We use an epgp loot system, main spec > off spec. Because most of our raiders are semi 277 geared now, there's a good opportunity for ICC 10H raiders wanting to step up to 25 player raiding to quickly get geared up for the final challenges in Wrath.

There are many guilds on Nagrand and many regular pick-up-groups getting halfway through ICC before collapsing. If you are currently in a small guild that isn't doing very much, or always seem to have to pug your raids, you're not getting the most out of your game. When Cataclysm hits, many people will suddenly want to jump on the 'big guild' bandwagons. Don't leave it too late to set yourself up. Get your foot in the door early, and come raid with us.

If you have additional questions, please send me a PM or ask on our website.

Thank you for your interest in Dexterity.
